The buildings here are old enough that most of what breaks is a part, not the glass. Hinges that have gone loose, rollers worn flat, seals gone hard, a window in a frame that has shifted. All of it is normal for buildings this old, and most of it is one visit.
Tell us the floor before we load the van
Access here is the thing that turns a short job into a long one.
There is often no lift. Where there is one, it will not take a panel. So the number of people we send depends on which floor you are on and whether anything must be carried up.
A fitting change needs one person and a bag. A new panel on the fourth floor needs three. Telling us the floor when you call stops us arriving short-handed.
What usually turns out to be wrong
On a shower, in this order: the seal has hardened, the rollers have worn, or the hinges have dropped. All three can be replaced without touching the glass.
On a window, it is usually the frame, not the glass. Old aluminium frames lose their rubber gasket, and the pane starts to rattle long before it ever cracks.
We check the fitting first. We only quote for glass if the glass is really the problem. It is a shorter talk and usually a much smaller bill.

- We make it and fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Then we make your glass. Our team delivers it, fits it, checks the doors line up and clears the site.
