These terms apply when you ask Fabrockers to do glass or aluminium work. Using this site means you accept them. If anything here is unclear, ask before you book - we would rather explain it now than argue about it later.
Who we are
Fabrockers is a glass and aluminium fabrication company working in Bengaluru, operated from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We take the job, price it, and carry it out ourselves - we are not a directory and we do not hand you off to somebody else to deal with.
We do three things: office partitions, shower cubicles and enclosures, and repairs. Reach us at hello@fabrockers.com or on +91 9905833824. In these terms “we” and “us” means Fabrockers, and “you” means the person booking the work.
How a job works
Every job runs the same way, so you always know what happens next:
- You pick a style and send your details. The site shows what we make and roughly what it costs.
- We call you to understand the job and book a site visit.
- We visit and measure. Our person comes to you, takes the measurements and checks access and site conditions.
- We send a firm quote based on those measurements. This is the real price. Everything before it was an estimate.
- You pay an advance so we can buy the glass, hardware and sundries for your job.
- We do the work. Our fitters carry it out with a site manager running the job through to the end.
- You pay the balance once the work is finished.
Prices on this site
Every price shown on this site is a starting price the minimum for that style, in the simplest case. It is there so you can judge whether the work is in your range before spending time on a call. It is not a quote, and it does not bind either of us.
What you actually pay depends on:
- the measured size of the opening;
- glass thickness and type;
- hardware, profiles and finish;
- site conditions and how hard the work is to reach.
The final figure is usually higher than the starting price. We would rather say that here than surprise you at the quote.
The site visit
We cannot price glass properly without measuring it, so a site visit comes before every quote. We book it at a time that suits you. Our person measures the opening, checks the site and answers whatever you want to ask.
You are under no obligation to go ahead after the visit and the quote.
Your quote
After the visit we send you a written quote: the full price, what it includes, and roughly how long the work will take. That quote is the agreed price. We do not add to it later unless you ask for something different, or something is found on site that could not be seen at the visit - and in that case we tell you and agree it with you before doing the work or charging for it.
A quote holds for the period stated on it. Glass and hardware prices move, so an old quote may need to be reissued.
Advance and balance
Work starts once you accept the quote and pay the advance. The advance covers materials - glass cut to your measurements, hardware, profiles and sundries bought specifically for your job. The amount is stated in your quote.
The balance is due when the work is finished. We will tell you what every charge is for before you pay it, and we do not ask for money over the phone outside this process.
Doing the work
The work is carried out by our fitters and fabricators, with a site work manager responsible for your job from the first day on site until it is finished. If something needs sorting out, that manager is who sorts it - you do not have to chase separate tradespeople.
We agree a schedule with you before starting. Dates are honest estimates rather than guarantees: glass is cut to order, and delivery, weather and site readiness all move timelines. If a date slips, we tell you as soon as we know.
What we need from you
- Accurate details about the job and a phone number you actually answer.
- Safe, clear access to the site on the agreed day, including any permission needed from a building, society or landlord.
- Power and water on site where the work needs it, and the area cleared enough for us to work in.
You must be 18 or older and entitled to authorise work at the address. If a visit is wasted because the site is not ready or nobody is there, a revisit charge may apply - we will tell you the amount before charging it.
Warranty
Our fitting is covered by a one-year workmanship warrantyfrom the day the work is finished. Toughened glass and hardware carry their manufacturers’ warranties, which we pass on to you.
The warranty does not cover accidental breakage, misuse, damage from building movement, work later altered by someone else, or normal wear on moving parts like rollers and hinges. Tell us about a problem and we will come and look at it.
Changing or cancelling
Once we have quoted a job and you have accepted it, we are committed to finishing it. We do not walk away from an accepted job, and we do not cancel because it turned out to be harder or less profitable than we expected. That is our risk, not yours.
The one thing that releases us is you changing the job. If what you want is no longer what was measured and quoted - different dimensions, a different design, extra work, or conditions on site that you have changed - then the original quote no longer applies. We will price the new scope and you can accept it or not. If we genuinely cannot do the changed job, we will say so and settle up fairly for the work and materials already used.
We may also have to stop if the site becomes unsafe, if we are refused access, or if the balance is not paid - and we will always tell you before it comes to that.
On your side: you can cancel free of charge at any point before we order or cut materials, including after the site visit and after receiving the quote. Once glass has been cut to your measurements it cannot be reused or resold, so from that point the material cost is payable and the advance is not refundable.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for the work we do and for the people we send to your site. If our work is defective, we will put it right - and once we have taken a job on, finishing it is our commitment, not something we reconsider later.
We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, for delays caused by events outside our control, or for damage arising from the existing condition of a structure that was not visible at the site visit and was not disclosed to us.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Where the law gives you a stronger right than these terms do, the law wins.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the business grows. The date at the top always shows the current version. A change never affects a job already quoted or under way those run on the terms in force when you accepted your quote.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru have jurisdiction. Before it ever gets that far, please talk to us: nearly everything is a phone call away from being fixed. Email hello@fabrockers.com or call +91 9905833824 and we will deal with it.
