Connaught Place, in Central Delhi, is a heritage-controlled shopping and office precinct built around the Inner, Middle and Outer Circles. We fit glass partitions, cabins and reception fronts for the offices on its upper floors. For the shops and restaurants at street level, we repair and replace shopfront glass, doors and locks.
Offices above Connaught Place's circles
Above street level, CP's floors hold small offices, consultancies and travel agencies that need the usual mix of partitions, cabins and a reception front. Because these are older buildings, we check the floor and any existing partition wall before fitting a new glass one, so the frame sits square against it.
What shows from the circle itself is a different matter. Any change to a shopfront or facade facing the Inner, Middle or Outer Circle needs the building owner's and NDMC's approval. We build that time into the schedule rather than assuming a quick swap.
Shop and restaurant fronts in Connaught Place
A shop or restaurant on the circles depends on its front glass through trading hours. If a panel cracks, we make the area safe first. We then measure the opening and repair or replace the door, lock and floor spring so the front keeps working.
Where an outlet cannot close during the day, we can carry out fitting work in the evening once the shop shuts. The front is then only out of use once.
