So we pick every part for that. It also changes the timing. A door that sticks is only a bother in an office. On Church Street on a Friday, it means a lost evening.
What a shop front here needs
Fronts in toughened glass (safety glass), with a door on a floor spring. Plus the inside glass that splits a kitchen pass or a private area from the main floor.
We fit everything stronger than the same job in an office. The front door goes on a floor spring made for heavy daily public use. The lock and handle match it.
Lighter parts look the same in a photo and cost less. But they are not made for this much use. So we list every part on the written price. Then you can compare quotes on what is inside them, not just the total.
Repairs, and how fast we can come
This is most of our work here. A door that slams, drifts open, sticks on the floor or will not lock is nearly always the closing gear, not the glass. Floor springs slowly get weaker and then stop working. Changing one is usually a two to three hour visit.
For broken glass we come the same day, where we can reach you. We clear the glass and cover the gap, and you keep trading. The new panel comes later, once it is made.
Send a short video of the door moving. That tells us more than any words. It means the right part is on the van the first time.
Working around your shop hours
We plan around your business, not ours. Most jobs happen before you open or after you close. We would rather start at seven than shut your shop at lunchtime.
A door repair fits into a morning. A full front takes one to two days. We do it in steps where we can, so you can keep trading.
Parking here is really hard. So we deliver early and fast. We unload, move the vehicle, and carry the panels in by hand.
Why the cheapest quote is usually wrong
The lowest price for a shop front nearly always means a lighter door closer, a weaker lock and no proper seals. It fits fine. Then it fails within a year, usually while you are serving customers.

We give a warranty on our own fitting work. The parts carry the maker's warranty.
