Aluminium Sliding Doors across Bengaluru
Where a living room opens onto a balcony or a terrace, the door is most of the wall. Aluminium suits that, because a slim frame can hold tall, wide glass. Bengaluru's mild weather means such a door stays open for a good part of the day. So it has to slide with a light push for years, and we size the rollers for the weight of each panel.
Large toughened panels do not fit in every apartment lift. We measure the lift and the stairs before the glass is made, and plan the door in narrower panels where we must. Rain comes here from April to November, so the floor track sits on the sill and the frame is sealed to the wall all round.
