Sector 57 is lined with four-storey builder floors, many of them rented to people working on Golf Course Road and in Cyber City. Owners here want repairs that last and a room that is quickly usable again. Most jobs are shower screens, stuck windows, mesh and doors, in floors reached by a small lift or a narrow stair.
Repairs between tenants
The best time to fix a rented floor is between tenants. The flat is empty, so a bathroom can be out of use for a day without anyone minding.
Tell us when a tenant is leaving and we can plan the work for that gap. It is quicker and easier with nobody living there.
We list every fault on one visit and fix it together.
A small lift and a tall panel
Builder floors here have small lifts. Many will not take a full-height shower panel.
So we measure the lift before we design. Where a panel is too tall, we make it as two with a slim joint, or carry it up the stair if the turn allows.
Toughened glass cannot be trimmed later, so this is decided before we order.
Fixes that outlast a tenancy
Owners here usually want a fix that lasts years, not months. That means proper parts.
A stuck sliding window gets new rollers rated for the sash weight. A dropped door gets a proper hinge. A shower gets toughened glass and a seal that is easy to replace later.
The cheap version of each looks the same on day one, and fails within the next tenancy.
