Noida Extension - Greater Noida West - is the newest large housing belt in NCR. Gaur City, the Bisrakh side, sector after sector of towers handed over in the last few years. Almost every job here is a first fitting into an empty flat, which is the cleanest work we do. The complication is not the flat. It is that fifty of your neighbours are fitting out in the same month.
The lift queue is the schedule
This is the defining fact of working here, and it is not a complaint about the buildings.
A tower at handover has dozens of flats being fitted out in the same month, with one service lift between them. So the lift booking, not our availability and not the glass, is what decides your date. Slots go early and a missed slot costs a week rather than a day.
We book it the moment the order is placed, at the same time as starting the fit-out NOC, and both run while the glass is being cut and toughened. If you have flooring, wardrobes or a kitchen coming too, tell us - coordinating lift slots between trades is far easier than three contractors independently discovering the same queue.
A first fitting is the cleanest work we do
There is nothing to remove, and that takes a real amount of work out of the job.
In a fifteen-year-old bathroom half the day goes on cutting out an old screen, scraping back hardened silicone and finding out what is behind it. Here none of that exists. The tiles are new, the walls are close to true, and nobody is living there to work around.
It also means frameless glass is genuinely on the table. Frameless panels are cut square and need true walls; in an older flat they often are not, and a slim frame becomes the answer whether or not you wanted it. Here you get to choose by how it looks. We still check with a level while measuring, because handover quality varies.
One visit for the whole flat
This is where the money is, and it is the single most common thing people get wrong here.
The measuring visit, the delivery, the lift booking, the gate registration and a day of the team's time are paid once whether we fit one enclosure or two bathrooms and a balcony. Split across three separate visits, all of it is paid three times - and it means three lift bookings in a building where lift slots are the scarce thing.
So we measure everything while we are there, including whatever you have not decided on yet. Being measured commits you to nothing. It simply lets you see the real cost of doing it together against doing it piece by piece, which in this belt is a large difference.
