We ask for very little, and we use it for one thing: getting your job priced and done. We do not sell your details to anyone, ever.
The short version
- We collect your name, phone number and area, so we can call you and come and measure.
- Your details stay with our own team and the fitters doing your job.
- We never sell your data, and we do not run advertising trackers.
- Email hello@fabrockers.com and we will delete everything we hold about you.
What we collect
Only what a job needs:
- Your name and phone number, and whether that number is on WhatsApp, so we know how to reach you.
- Your area the locality is enough to start with. We ask for the full address only when we book the site visit.
- What you told us about the job: the style you picked, your description, and any photos you sent.
- Basic technical information your browser sends on any site - device type, approximate region, pages viewed - used to keep the site working.
We do not ask for and do not want your Aadhaar, PAN, bank details or card numbers. Nobody from Fabrockers will ever ask you for an OTP.
Why we need it
To call you about the job, to book and carry out the site visit, to send you a quote, and to run the work through to the end. We also use it to answer you when you contact us, and to fix problems when something goes wrong.
Where the law requires a basis: we process your details to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and to perform that contract.
Who sees it
Inside Fabrockers, your details reach the people who need them to do your job: whoever calls you, the person who comes to measure, and the site manager and fitters carrying out the work. Everyone on the job is bound to use those details for that job alone.
Beyond that, your details reach only the services that keep the site running - our hosting and database providers, and the mapping service used to search localities. They process data on our instructions.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. There is no advertising network on this site.
Location
The area field has a “find me” button. It only runs when you tap it, and your browser asks your permission first. We use the result once, to name your locality - we do not track your location in the background, and we do not store your coordinates beyond the locality you confirm.
Photos you send
Photos of your job are stored so we can price accurately. Please avoid sending pictures that show documents, faces or anything else you would not want a tradesperson to see. Ask us and we will delete any photo.
Storage and security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with access limited to people who need it to run Fabrockers. Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise - but we keep the amount we hold small deliberately, which is the best protection there is.
How long we keep it
Job details stay while the job is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, so warranty questions can be answered. Enquiries that never became jobs are cleared once they are plainly stale. Ask for deletion and we will act sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- correct anything wrong;
- delete your details entirely;
- stop contacting you.

Cookies
We use the minimum needed to make the site work - remembering that you posted a job, so your listings show up on your device. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Children
Fabrockers is for adults arranging work on property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change meaningfully affects how we use your details, we will say so clearly rather than quietly editing the page.
