Sector 16 and the 16A market are Faridabad's main shopping and office hub, near the Old Faridabad metro. Showrooms, restaurants, banks and offices fill the blocks. The work here is almost all commercial: shopfronts and doors at street level, and office cabins on the floors above. Most of it happens outside trading hours.
Showrooms in the 16A market
The 16A market is lined with showrooms that trade all day. A broken front means a shop that cannot lock up.
We come first to make it safe and board it. A made-to-size toughened panel then takes three to five working days.
We fit it before opening, so no trading day is lost.
Offices above the market
Above the shops are offices of all sizes. A typical job splits a floor into cabins, a meeting room and an open area.
Most floors are rented, so a framed aluminium system that unbolts at lease end is usually sensible.
We measure the stair or lift before designing any tall panel.
Doors that wear at the floor
Showroom doors here open all day. The part that wears is the floor spring, which closes the door smoothly.
A door that slams or drifts usually needs a new spring, not a new door. We check first.
When we fit a spring, it is rated for heavy shop use.
