Timing glass in a renovation
Glass should go in near the end of a renovation, after flooring and tiling but before final painting.
If it goes in too early, other trades chip it, and a chipped toughened panel has to be remade. That adds three to five working days.

A railing stops a person falling, so its glass and clamps are chosen for that. Without a top handrail, the glass must be thicker.
