BTM Layout gives us two clear kinds of work. Across 1st and 2nd Stage, the job is usually inside a home: a bathroom screen, a window fault or mosquito mesh. Along 16th Main and towards Madiwala, it is public-facing glass: an entrance door, shop front, lock or closer. We survey and price those as different jobs even when they share one address.
Homes in BTM Layout's 1st and 2nd Stage
For a bathroom, we measure only after the tile faces and floor are finished. The opening decides whether a fixed panel, hinged door or slider will work without crowding the basin or toilet.
Window repairs start with movement. We check the track, rollers, handle, locking points and drain path before pricing a part. Mesh is measured to each working opening after that check, so the new screen does not hide a window that still needs repair.
Shops on 16th Main and towards Madiwala
A shop entrance that slams or stays open normally needs its floor spring diagnosed, not a new glass panel. A stiff lock can be alignment, a worn lock body or a door that has dropped. We watch the movement before naming the part.
Cracked glass is different. We secure the opening, record the thickness, edges and hardware cut-outs, then order a matching toughened panel. Door work can often fit around trading hours. New glass needs a measured fabrication return.
One BTM visit can cover the shop and the flat
BTM Layout mixes homes and street-facing businesses closely. The work may be a leaking shower screen upstairs and a worn glass-door closer at the shop below. Send both lists before the visit. We can bring the bathroom seals and the commercial door parts together.
The two jobs are measured differently. Shower glass waits until the tile faces are complete. A shop-door repair is diagnosed from the door movement and the existing fittings. Combining the visit saves a second journey without pretending both jobs use the same material or price basis.
