Vasant Vihar is some of the largest private housing in Delhi, and much of it sits close to embassies and diplomatic residences. That shapes the job before the glass does. Many homes here have their own guards and want every worker's ID in advance. The houses are big, the bathrooms are many, and people usually want the whole house done in one go.
Security clears the team before we start
Many houses here have a guard at the gate and a written rule about who comes in. Some want a copy of each worker's ID the day before. A few want a named supervisor who stays for the whole job.
We work to that without fuss. Tell us the rule when you book, and the IDs arrive before the team does. The same people come back each day, so the guard is not re-checking new faces every morning.
Doing a large house in one order
A Vasant Vihar house usually has four or five bathrooms, a staircase, and wide windows onto a garden. Doing them one at a time is the most expensive way.
The measuring visit, the delivery and a day of the team's time are paid once however much glass goes in. So we measure the whole house on one visit, including parts you have not decided on. Being measured commits you to nothing. It lets you see the full cost properly, instead of one room at a time.
Glass railings are built for safety, not looks
Most houses here want a glass stair or balcony railing. It is worth saying clearly that this is not a partition.
A partition holds itself up. A railing stops a person falling. So the glass thickness and the way each panel is clamped are set by that job. Where there is no top handrail, the glass carries more and must be thicker.
If a railing quote looks much cheaper than ours, ask what glass and what fixing it uses. With children or older parents in the house, this is not the place to save money.
