What to send us
The more of this you send, the sooner you get a real number. None of it is required. People send us one blurry photo every day, and we still reply.
- A photo of the opening. Stand back far enough to fit the whole opening in the picture. Put something ordinary beside it, so we can judge the size. For a repair, a short video of the door opening and closing helps us more.
- A rough width and height. Measure with a tape, in feet or in millimetres. We check every size on site before anything is made, so yours only has to be close.
- Where you are, and which floor. Your area and your floor decide how many people come and what time we start. A building with no service lift is not a problem. We simply plan for it.
- When you need it. Glass cut to your size takes a few working days to make. If you have a handover date or a tiling date, tell us at the start. We will plan backwards from it.
What happens after you send it
We read it and call you back, usually within about two minutes in working hours. Where we can, we give you a rough price on that call. You then know whether a site visit is worth your time. If it is, we book the measurement.
After we measure, you get the price in writing. The glass, the fittings, the labour and the GST each sit on their own line. Nothing is made until you approve it. There is no sales call and no pressure to hire us. Asking costs nothing.
Common questions before you call
How quickly will you get back to me?
In about two minutes, in working hours. That is the target for a form or a call, and we hit it most of the time. On WhatsApp the reply is usually just as quick, though we are a fitting team, so if everyone is on site it can come between jobs. If the job is urgent, say so in your first line and call us as well. Broken glass and a shop door that will not shut both count as urgent.
Can you give a price from a photo?
Often, yes, and it is the fastest way to start. A photo and a rough size are usually enough for a price range you can plan around. They are not enough to make the glass from. Toughened glass is cut and drilled before it is toughened, so we measure the final sizes at your site.
What should I measure before I get in touch?
Measure the width and height of the opening with a tape, rather than judging it by eye. Feet or millimetres both work. For a shower, tell us the shape as well: wall to wall, a corner, or an L. For a repair, a short video of the door moving tells us more than any measurement.
Do you work on Sundays or after office hours?
We answer the phone Monday to Sunday, 9am to 8pm. Offices and shops that cannot close in the day can ask for night or Sunday work. Please ask when you first call, so we can plan the team for it.
Is there a minimum job size?
There is no minimum for partitions and enclosures. A single fixed panel is a normal job for us. Repairs are priced per part, so one hinge or one door closer is fine. A repair visit carries its own charge, and we tell you that amount before we come. Asking costs nothing either way.
