Sectors 93, 93A and 93B were among the first places towers went up along the Noida Expressway. The earliest are now fifteen to twenty years old. That puts them at a different stage from the new towers further south. Here the work is replacing the first bathrooms and windows, not fitting them for the first time.
The first towers, now due for replacement
Unlike the new towers further down the Expressway, these are old enough that original fittings are wearing out. Shower screens leak, windows stick, and balcony doors have become heavy to slide.
Much of this is worn parts: seals, rollers and hinges. We check before quoting a full replacement.
Where a frame has truly failed, we replace it.
Taking an old screen out cleanly
An old shower screen has been sealed for fifteen years or more. It comes out, the hard sealant is scraped back, and we check the wall behind for damp.
If there is damp, the right order is to fix it and let it dry, then glaze.
We price the removal in the written quote, so it is not a surprise later.
Heavy balcony doors
Many flats here have large sliding balcony doors that have become hard to move. Wind at height wears the rollers faster than on a low floor.
Usually the fix is new rollers and a cleaned track, not a new door.
We check the rollers, track and lock before suggesting anything bigger.
