What we take on
Three families of work, for homes, offices and shops. Everything we sell sits in one of them, and every one of them is priced openly on our rate list.
- Toughened glass work. Office cabins, meeting rooms and glass walls. Shower enclosures. Shop fronts. Glass railings and balustrades. Mirrors. Frameless, or set in a slim aluminium frame.
- Aluminium and uPVC. New windows and doors, sliding and openable. Double glazing. Balcony glazing. Wardrobe and kitchen shutters. Mosquito mesh in every common type.
- Repairs. Anything that has stopped working: rollers, hinges, closers, locks, handles, tracks, seals and broken glass. In glass, aluminium, uPVC, wood and steel, whoever fitted it and however old it is.
What we do not do
We would rather say this here than on the phone after you have waited for us. In wood and steel we do the hardware and the movement only. We set a wooden door or a wardrobe shutter right, change its hinges and make it close properly. We do not do carpentry, welding or painting, and we do not build furniture. We also do not take a job in a city where we have no team, however good the job is. Those lines are the reason the work we do take on comes back finished.
How we work
Three things decide whether a job goes well, new work or a repair, and we hold to all three:
- We measure on site first. Toughened glass is cut and drilled first, then toughened, and an aluminium or uPVC frame is cut to the opening. So nothing can be trimmed once it arrives. A measurement over the phone is only a guess. Ours is verified with a level, at your site, before anything is made. For a repair, the first visit is where we find the real fault, not the one described on the phone.
- The price is transparent and in writing. You get the material, the fittings and the labour as separate lines, before you commit. It is not a round number given over a call. GST is its own line, so there are no hidden fees. If a site measurement changes the total, we show you why.
- Our own professional team fits it. The people who make the work also fit it. So one team answers for the job, from the first measurement to the last bit of silicone, with 2 years warranty on every product, 6 months on repairs and installations behind it.
What we make, fit and repair
- Shower Cubicles — Shower enclosures in toughened glass, sealed properly so water stays inside. Frameless or slim frame.
- Office Glass Partitions — Cabins, meeting rooms, glass walls and shop fronts in toughened glass. Frameless, or set in a slim aluminium frame.
- Repairs & Installations — Doors, windows, sliders, shutters, mesh, grills and gates set right or newly fitted, in glass, aluminium, uPVC, wood and steel. Broken glass replaced, worn fittings changed.
How a job runs, start to finish
- You send it, and we call back in about two minutes. A form on this site, a WhatsApp photo or a phone call — all three reach the same desk in working hours, and somebody in your city rings you straight back. A repair or an installation you can also book yourself, choosing the hour you want us.
- We come and measure. Usually the same day or the next one. We take the opening with a level, check the walls, the floor and the way in, and find the real fault on a repair rather than the one described on the phone.
- You get a written quote. Material, fittings and labour on separate lines, GST on its own line, no hidden fees. Before that quote, every number you have seen is a starting price.
- We make it and fit it. Most jobs are done in 3 to 4 days from measuring to fitting. Larger jobs and bent glass take longer, and we tell you before you order.
- We stand behind it. 2 years warranty on every product, 6 months on repairs and installations, from the day the work is done. If something we fitted stops working in that time, we come back.
What you can count on
Your written quote states the glass type, thickness and fittings. Different uses need different glass, including toughened or laminated panels. Toughened glass breaks into small fragments, but broken glass can still injure. The aluminium and uPVC sections are standard profiles, not offcuts. Your quote names the fittings and finish before you approve the work. Materials matched to the written specification, a dedicated support line, and a quality check before we leave.

Each city has our own people living and working in it, not a subcontractor we found and pay a margin to. It is the reason we can come back a month later to adjust a door.

Who provides the information on this website?
Fabrockers publishes these service descriptions, coverage details and starting prices. The service cards show our current advertised rates and their units. Pricing guides also contain worked examples for the sizes stated. Those examples are estimates; your measured, written quote sets your price. GST is shown separately, along with the materials, fittings and labour.

Why glass specifications need a site check
Cutting and drilling happen before a panel is toughened. A finished toughened panel cannot be resized to fit another opening. Guardian Glass explains this in its GlassTime technical handbook. This is why we measure openings before ordering replacement panels.
Toughened and laminated glass behave differently when they break. A laminated panel uses an interlayer to hold broken fragments together. See AIS guidance on safety and security glass for the distinction. Thickness alone does not decide whether a railing system is suitable. Panel size, supports and the complete fixing system need checking too. These references explain materials; they do not certify a Fabrockers installation.
