Sector 14 is one of Faridabad's established Huda sectors, close to Sector 12's courts and government offices. Its family kothis stand on good plots with wide gates. Many have been in the same family for decades and are now being renovated. The work here is whole-house glass: bathrooms, windows and stair railings.
A family kothi, renovated
Many Sector 14 kothis have been in one family for decades. When they are renovated, the glass is usually done throughout.
Doing it all in one order is the biggest saving, because the visit and the team's day are paid once.
We measure the whole house on one visit and quote it together.
Easy access, big panels
Sector 14 plots have wide gates and ground-level entry. That removes the access problems common elsewhere in NCR.
So large single panels come in without joints, for a wide window or a tall stair railing.
Very large panels need more people to handle safely, which shows in the labour line.
When glass goes into a renovation
In a renovation, glass goes in near the end, after flooring and tiling but before final painting.
If it goes in too early, other trades chip it, and a chipped toughened panel must be remade.
