Uttarahalli and the layouts around Chikkalasandra and Subramanyapura are mostly independent houses of three or four floors, built plot by plot over many years. Almost none have a lift. So the most useful thing you can tell us on the first call is which floor you are on. Here, the staircase decides how big a piece of glass we can use.
The staircase, not the bathroom, sets the panel size
This is the plain fact that shapes every job here. Every panel goes up by hand, usually around a tight turn at each half landing.
We measure that turn on the same visit as the bathroom. Where a single panel will not make it, we build the job as two panels joined with a connector, and from a few feet away you cannot see the join.
What we will not do is force a toughened panel around a corner. When toughened glass (safety glass) breaks, it breaks all at once, and a made-to-size panel cannot be replaced from stock.

The houses were built over many years, so the answer changes plot by plot. A newly re-tiled bathroom suits frameless and looks better. An older one has usually settled, and a slim aluminium frame takes that up inside the channel.
A chipped or cracked toughened panel is worth replacing, not watching. Damage to the edge takes away the strength that toughening gives the glass. A stair railing is not the place to find that out.
How a job runs in a lived-in house
We cover the floors, sheet off the working area so dust does not travel through the house, and take the old panel or enclosure away with us the same day.
A single bathroom is half a day to a day. Then allow about a day for the silicone to set before you use the shower. That is the part people most often get caught out by.
If it is your only bathroom, tell us and we will fit in the morning, so the setting time falls overnight.
