New windows and doors: what we make, and where
We make and fit four things new: uPVC sliding windows, aluminium sliding windows, uPVC sliding doors and aluminium sliding doors. Each is made to the size we measure at your place. A window comes with its frame, shutters, glass and hardware. You can add a third track with a mosquito mesh shutter, a safety grill, and a colour or wood finish.
For now we fit new windows and doors in Bengaluru only. Our own team measures, has the window made to that size, takes the old one out and carries it away. In Delhi NCR we repair uPVC and aluminium windows and doors and change their parts. We do not yet fit new ones there.
uPVC or aluminium: how to choose between them
Both are good frames. They differ in look, in sealing and in price.
uPVC is a plastic frame with steel inside it for strength. Its shutters press onto rubber seals, so it is the tighter frame against rain, dust and noise. It does not swell like wood or rust like steel. It comes in white and in a few colours and wood finishes.
Aluminium is a metal frame. It is thinner, so the window shows more glass and suits a wide opening. It is powder-coated, so you can pick almost any colour. Aluminium sliders usually run on brush seals, which let in a little more dust and sound than rubber.
Pick uPVC for a bedroom on a busy road, or a balcony door that faces the rain. Pick aluminium for a big window, a wide sliding door, or a house with black or grey frames. The four pages above compare the two in more detail, each with its own price.
Repair the one you have, or replace it
Most calls are for a window or door that still works, but badly. A roller, a handle, a lock or a rubber seal is one fixed price, supplied and fitted. The visit usually ends the same day. We change the failed part and leave the rest alone.
We say replace when the frame itself is past it. A frame that has bent, an aluminium track worn through, or an old wooden window that has rotted. Then a repair would only buy a few months. On a repair visit in Bengaluru we can measure for a new window at the same time. You get both prices in writing, and you choose.
How the rates on this page work
Every rate here is a starting rate, fitted, before GST. A new window or door is priced per square foot of the whole window: frame, shutters, glass and hardware together. A repair part is one fixed price for that part, fitted. A repair visit covers the trip and the work on site. Any part is added at its own fixed price.
Four things move the number on a new window. The size, a third track for mesh, a grill, and the colour or wood finish. On a repair it is the number of shutters, and whether the part is a standard size. You get the exact figure in writing after we measure, and nothing is due before you approve it.
