We inspect the movement, alignment, locking points, seals and drainage before naming the repair. The visit starts at ₹1,500 and covers travel, diagnosis and up to 90 minutes of repair work. The symptoms we repair on uPVC windows
Call us when a shutter drags, will not close, rattles in wind, lets dust or rain through, or has a handle that turns without locking. We work on sliding, casement and tilt-and-turn uPVC windows.
A short video of the window moving helps us prepare, but it does not replace the site check. Similar symptoms can come from different parts, and changing the wrong part wastes both time and money.
How we find the actual fault
We first operate the window slowly and watch where it meets the frame. Then we check roller height or hinge alignment, the handle and locking gear, the rubber seals, and the drainage path.
This order matters. For example, a stiff handle often works normally once a dropped shutter is aligned. In that case you pay for alignment, not for a handle and gear you did not need.
What the visit includes
The ₹1,500 visit covers travel, inspection and up to 90 minutes of work. Cleaning tracks and drains, resetting alignment, adjusting keeps and freeing a stuck mechanism are visit work.
Handles, roller pairs, gears and replacement rubber are separate parts. We identify the matching part, show you the price and wait for approval. If a special profile has to be sourced, we secure the window and give you the return date in writing.
The checks before we leave
A repaired sliding window must run end to end without dragging. A hinged shutter must meet its seal evenly and lock without force. Drain holes must release water outside, not into the sill.
We repeat the movement several times and ask you to try it too. The job is complete when the window moves, seals and locks as it should, not when a new part has merely been installed.
