Rohini runs across more than twenty sectors, and moving between them takes real time. That has a practical consequence for small repairs: a job in Sector 7 and a job in Sector 22 are not the same trip. Grouping work by sector is how these jobs stay affordable, and it is worth knowing when you book.
Why we ask which sector before quoting a small job
For a small repair, travel is most of the cost, and the sectors here are far enough apart to matter.\n\nSo we group work geographically and will often offer a better date if it fits a day we are already in that part of Rohini.\n\nIt is worth asking whether we have anything nearby that week. On a job of a few hundred rupees' labour, fitting it into an existing trip is a genuine saving rather than a gesture.
Changing anything on the outside of a society block
In a co-operative block the elevation is collectively controlled, and replacing a window, grille or balcony enclosure in a different style is usually objected to.\n\nThat objection frequently arrives after the work is done, which is the expensive moment.\n\nSo we ask what the neighbours have before quoting anything external, and we match it. Where you want something different, get it agreed first — we will happily provide a drawing or a photograph of the proposal for that purpose.
Balcony enclosures that were done years ago
A great many balconies here were enclosed at some point, often well before the current owner, and those enclosures are now the oldest glazing on the flat.\n\nThey were frequently built without a drainage path, which is why they collect water and why the frames corrode at the base.\n\nSo when we repair one we open up the base detail rather than just replacing glass. Where there is no drainage we add it, because otherwise the new work fails exactly the way the old work did.
How the job works
- Tell us about the jobSend a few photos, rough sizes and what you need. Use WhatsApp or the form. For a repair, a short video of the door moving helps a lot.
- We call you back in about 2 minutesWe confirm what you need and a time to visit. Where we can, we give you a rough price on the call.
- We come and measureWe measure the opening and check the walls, floor and ceiling around it. Anything made to size is made to these measurements, so they must be right.
- You get a written priceIt lists each item, with GST as its own line. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Our own team fits the work, checks that every door and window opens and closes properly, and clears up. Most jobs are done in 3 to 4 days.
