Badshahpur is an old village on Sohna Road that Gurugram has grown all the way around. New towers stand on every side, and the village itself has filled with shops, small businesses and rented floors that serve them. The work here is a mix: shopfronts on the main road, and bathrooms and repairs in the floors behind.
Shops serving the new towers
The towers around Badshahpur have brought thousands of new residents, and the village shops serve them. Grocery, pharmacy, salons, hardware.
These shops trade from early to late, so front glass and doors are fitted before opening or after closing.
A broken front is made safe first and boarded, then replaced.
Rented floors inside the village
Many village buildings have been built up into rented floors. Landlords want repairs done well and quickly.
Most faults are small: rollers on a stuck window, a hinge on a dropped door, new mesh. We check the part first and fix only what is broken.
