Planning a frontage that can be added to
If the shopfront goes in now and a counter or cabin follows later, the later work is much cheaper when the first stage anticipated it.\n\nThat means leaving the fixing points, keeping the frame system consistent and knowing where the later divisions will land.\n\nSo we ask what you eventually want even when you are only ordering the first part. It costs nothing now and it avoids the situation where stage two means undoing part of stage one.
Which part to do first
Where budget is limited, the order matters. The frontage does the most for the business, because it is what brings people in and what secures the shop at night.\n\nInternal divisions can wait; a shop that cannot be locked up properly cannot.\n\nSo we would do the front and the door first, then the counter, then any cabin. We say that plainly rather than quoting the whole thing and leaving you to work out what to cut.
Keeping the same system across stages
Frame systems and hardware finishes change between years and suppliers, so work done in stages can end up visibly mismatched.\n\nThat is avoidable if the system is fixed at the start and recorded.\n\nSo we note exactly what was used on the first stage and use the same for later ones, even years afterwards. It costs nothing to record and it is the difference between a shop that looks designed and one that looks assembled.
