Most partition work in IMT Manesar is inside a plant that runs continuously, and that is the governing constraint. The building does not empty at six, the floor cannot stop, and a fit-out has to happen alongside production. Everything about how we sequence the work follows from that.
Fitting out around a shift change
A plant running shifts has a short period at each changeover when the floor is quieter and movement is lower.\n\nThat is usually the best window for anything disruptive, and it is not obvious from outside.\n\nSo we ask about the shift pattern before programming the work, and place the noisy and the material-moving parts at changeover. It is a scheduling decision that costs nothing and makes the difference between a fit-out that interferes with production and one that does not.
A supervisor cabin that has to see the floor
The whole point of a supervisor's cabin is sightlines, and it is remarkable how often one is built where the supervisor cannot see the thing they supervise.\n\nSo the position is set by standing where the supervisor will stand and looking, not by where there is space.\n\nWe glaze the sides that need to see and use solid panels where there is nothing to watch, which also cuts noise. Getting that right is more valuable than anything about the specification of the glass.
Keeping the floor clean during the work
In a plant, concrete dust and swarf from drilling can reach machines, stock and finished goods, and that is a far larger problem than the fit-out is worth.\n\nSo we sheet the working area off from the production side before any drilling, and vacuum at source rather than cleaning up afterwards.\n\nWe also agree with you what must not be exposed to dust at all, and plan around it. An hour of preparation avoids a contamination problem that could stop a line, which no partition is worth.
How the job works
- Tell us about the jobSend a few photos, rough sizes and what you need. Use WhatsApp or the form. For a repair, a short video of the door moving helps a lot.
- We call you back in about 2 minutesWe confirm what you need and a time to visit. Where we can, we give you a rough price on the call.
- We come and measureWe measure the opening and check the walls, floor and ceiling around it. Anything made to size is made to these measurements, so they must be right.
- You get a written priceIt lists each item, with GST as its own line. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Our own team fits the work, checks that every door and window opens and closes properly, and clears up. Most jobs are done in 3 to 4 days.
