Partition work in Sector 18 splits by where you are, not by what you want. A street-front unit on Atta Market and a unit inside a mall block need the same glass and completely different plans. Establishing which you are is the first question, because it decides the arrival time, the team size and the labour cost.
Street front or mall unit
A street-front shop or office is straightforward. Noida's roads are wide and there is genuine kerbside space, which is unusual in a retail area - we deliver early, unload at the kerb, and fit before opening.
A unit inside a mall block is governed by the building. Materials use a service route on a fixed schedule tied to when the retail is closed, with a register and a goods lift booking, and fitting is frequently night work.
The glass is identical. The installation is not, and the difference is several hours of labour and sometimes a night shift. So we ask at the enquiry rather than discovering it when the vehicle arrives at a service gate that closed an hour ago.
A shopfront is a different specification from a partition
People often ask for both in the same conversation, and they are not the same product.
An internal partition divides space. A shopfront is a public entrance that faces the street, takes weather, takes impact, and gets opened continuously through a trading day. It is always toughened, always thicker, and its door always takes a commercial-rated floor spring rather than a domestic closer.
If somebody has quoted you a shopfront at internal partition rates, that is worth questioning before you compare it with anything else. The rate looks better because the product is different, and the difference shows up in year one rather than year five.
Working around a trading day
Nothing here should happen between eleven and eight if it can be avoided, and usually it can.
We start before the market opens or work after it closes. For a shopfront that is not a preference, it is how the job gets done without you losing trade - and a lost trading day in Sector 18 costs considerably more than the difference between a day rate and an evening one.
Where the work genuinely cannot fit outside hours, we will say so up front and price the disruption honestly rather than promising an evening job and then asking for a day.
