CV Raman Nagar is an easy place for us to work. The Bagmane side brings office cabins, with a proper loading area and a facility team that runs a sensible process. Behind it, Kaggadasapura, Byrasandra and the old defence layouts are low buildings on wide-enough roads. Very little here needs the planning that a Ring Road tower or an Indiranagar cross needs.
Why jobs here run to time
Access is the thing that usually costs a job days, and here it mostly does not.
On the park side there is a real loading area, so a delivery is unloaded in one go instead of being carried in from a road. In the layouts the buildings are two or three floors, and the roads take a vehicle without blocking anyone.
That shows up in the price as well as the calendar. A big part of what a fit-out costs is our team's hours on site. The hours nobody spends carrying panels from a far-off parking spot are hours you do not pay for.
The layout houses and their bathrooms
The housing here is settled: independent houses and small blocks, mostly two to four floors, and mostly without a service lift.
So panels go up the stairs by hand, and the turn in the staircase decides the largest panel we can use. We measure it on the same visit as the bathroom.
On style, these bathrooms split by age. A recently re-tiled one suits frameless, and it looks better. An original bathroom in a house twenty years old has usually settled a few millimetres. A slim aluminium frame takes that up inside the channel. We check with a level. We do not decide in advance.
Clinics and small consulting rooms
There are a lot of small clinics in this area. A consulting room is the one glass job where sound matters more than looks.
We build those differently. Full-height glass, sealed at the top and both sides, and a door that closes properly with no gap at the floor. Frosting to sill height, or a fully frosted panel, covers what people can see.
A partition that stops short of the ceiling will not hold a talk in, whatever it costs. We tell you that before you spend the money, not after.
