Basavanagudi has some of the oldest buildings we work in. That decides almost every choice we make here. Houses around DVG Road and NR Colony have been extended, re-floored and re-roofed over many decades. Shops on Gandhi Bazaar have been in the same family for years. Very little is square. Ignore that, and a glass job ends up with a gap you can see from the doorway.
Why we usually recommend a frame here
After forty or fifty years, a building has moved. The walls lean a little. The floor is not level. The opening is wider at one end than the other.
Frameless glass has almost no room for that. A gap shows along the edge, and a door may need packing to close properly.
A slim aluminium frame has that room built into the channel. It usually costs a little less on a simple run, because it takes thinner glass, and it hides a lot. Where a bathroom has just been fully re-tiled, frameless is the better looking answer again, and we will say so.

The shops here are old, busy and often narrow at the front. The work is entrance doors, display glass and front panels.

We work before you open or after you close. Anything that changes the shop face needs the building owner's agreement, and often the local authority's. So start that early, not after the glass is made.

The roads around Gandhi Bazaar are narrow, one-way in places, and busy from early morning. A long vehicle standing there is a problem within minutes.
