Gandhi Bazaar and DVG Road are old shopping streets in Basavanagudi, with eating places among the shops. Many buildings around them are older ones. Floors in an older building are rarely level, and door openings are rarely square. So a door that was fine last year starts to scrape the floor. Or it swings open by itself.
