Chhatarpur is farmhouse country, just inside the city's southern edge. Large private plots, long driveways, and a great many banquet and wedding venues along the Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road. The glass work here is bigger than anywhere else in Delhi. Wide glazed walls, long railings and many bathrooms, with easy access to all of it.
The easiest access in Delhi
There is no lift, no narrow stair and no busy lane. Panels come off the vehicle and go straight to where they are needed.
That means we can bring in very large single panels here, for a wide glazed wall or a long railing run, with no joints.
It also means a full working day with no time limits. On a big job, that brings the price towards the lower end of our range.
Railings for places where people gather
Farmhouses and banquet halls here have terraces, staircases, pool edges and mezzanines. All of them need safe railings.
A railing stops a person falling, so its glass and clamps are chosen for that job, not for looks. At a venue where many people gather, often at night, this matters even more.
We will not fit a railing to a partition specification. If a design has no top handrail, the glass has to be thicker and stronger.
Glazing that faces the weather
Many farmhouses here glaze a verandah or a garden room. The honest question is about weather, not glass.
A sliding system on an open track keeps out most rain and dust, but not all of it in a hard monsoon. A properly sealed system keeps out much more, and costs more.
