Koramangala is the busiest area we cover. It also has the widest mix of work. In 5th and 6th Block, startup offices sit in houses that were never built to be offices. On the main roads there are restaurants and cafes. A broken door here costs them a whole evening. Above both are normal flats with normal bathrooms. Three different jobs. Three different ways to plan the day.
Offices built inside houses
This is the classic Koramangala job. A company takes a house and opens up what it can. They need cabins and a meeting room in rooms that used to be bedrooms.
The problems are always the same. The ceiling height changes from room to room. So we make each panel to fit its own room, not one size for all. There is often a beam or a duct right where the glass should go. So we measure the room, not a floor plan. The floor also slopes a little. So we set the glass line off the finished floor.
None of this is hard. It is only hard if someone quotes it from a photo.
Restaurant and cafe fronts
On the main roads the work is entrance doors and front glass. These parts are heavier than the same job in an office.
A restaurant front door is opened hundreds of times a day. So it goes on a floor spring (the closer set into the floor) made for that. It gets a lock and handle built for public use. A lighter one looks the same in a photo. It costs less. Then it starts slamming within a year.
So we list every part on the written price. Then you can compare a cheaper quote against ours. You see what is really in it, not just the total.
How fast we can come for a broken door
Same day to make it safe, where we can reach you. We clear the glass and board or cover the opening. You keep working. The new panel comes later, once it is made. Toughened glass (safety glass) is cut and drilled before it is toughened. That takes a few working days.
Most of these calls turn out to be the fittings, not the glass. A door that slams, drifts open, or will not latch has usually lost its closing control at the floor spring.

The flats above and behind
Behind the shops, and above many of them, Koramangala is still a place people live. Shower enclosures are a steady part of what we do here.
Most of these buildings are old enough that the job is a replacement. If the frame has rusted and the silicone behind the tiles has failed, a new one is the right answer. If only the hinges or seals have gone, that is a repair. We will price it as one.
For the look, we check with a level at the measuring visit. A newly tiled bathroom suits frameless glass. An old one that has settled usually suits a slim aluminium frame better.
