Ballabgarh sits at the southern end of Faridabad and mixes everything the district has: workshops and small industrial units, showrooms along the main road, and sector housing behind. It is the furthest point on our Faridabad route, and because it sits on the same road as the industrial sectors, it is on the way rather than out of the way.
Being at the end of the route, and what we do about it
Ballabgarh is the furthest point we go in Faridabad, and it is fair to ask whether that costs more. It does not - the rate is the same everywhere we work.
What changes is the planning rather than the price. We group work on this stretch rather than making single trips down the Mathura Road, which means you get a firm arrival slot instead of a vague window.
If you are flexible about the day, say so when you call. It usually means we can reach you sooner, because we can attach your job to a trip that is already going to the industrial sectors rather than waiting for a reason to make the run.
Workshops and small units
There are a lot of small industrial and workshop units here, and the work is partitions, office corners inside sheds, and glazing for showroom areas attached to workshops.
The access is excellent - ground level, wide doors, no lift - so large single panels are straightforward where a tower would force joints every few feet.
The things to tell us are the same as anywhere industrial. When does the work stop, so we can plan into it. And what happens around the glass: grinding sparks and welding spatter pit glass permanently and cannot be polished out, so if there is hot work nearby we will say what actually belongs there, even where that means a smaller job for us.
Showrooms on the main road
Along the Mathura Road stretch the work is showroom fronts and entrance doors, and the rule is the one that holds in every market: the shop cannot lose a day.
We work before opening or after close. For a broken front we come first to make it safe - clearing the broken glass properly, since toughened glass breaks into many small pieces that travel - and boarding the opening so the showroom can secure itself.
On the replacement, a stock thickness and size we hold can move fast, and a made-to-size toughened panel takes three to five working days to manufacture. That is the glass being made rather than a queue, and it is the same wherever you are. We would rather give you the real date than a hopeful one.
