Most partition work in Ballabgarh is a cabin inside a shed, an office over a showroom, or a supervisor's room on a working floor. The building is doing something else while we fit, and it is usually dusty and loud. That drives almost every decision about how the glass goes in.
Cutting noise, not just marking out a room
A cabin on a working floor is usually asked for so somebody can hear a phone call.\n\nA single sheet of glass does very little for that. Thicker glass helps a little. What actually works is double glazing - two panes with a sealed gap - or a laminated pane, and a door that seals at the edges rather than swinging free.\n\nA gap under the door undoes most of it, because sound follows air. So we fit a drop seal at the bottom where noise is the point. It costs more, and without it the cabin does not do the job it was asked for.
Dust decides the hardware, not the looks
On a shop floor there is grit in the air all day, and it settles into every track and hinge.\n\nA sliding cabin door in that environment collects grit in the bottom track and starts to drag within months. A hinged door on a good closer does not have a bottom track to fill.\n\nSo in a dusty building we fit hinged rather than sliding wherever the floor space allows it, and we use sealed hardware where we cannot. It is the opposite of what we would fit in a clean office, for a reason that shows up in the second year.
Fitting without stopping the floor
The expensive thing in these buildings is downtime, and it is never the partition.\n\nSo we do the work in a sequence that keeps the floor running: measure and make off site, bring everything in finished, and do the fixing in one block rather than over several days.\n\nWe also sheet off the working side before drilling. Concrete dust into a machine or onto stock is a much bigger problem than a delayed cabin, and it is entirely avoidable with an hour of preparation.
How the job works
- Tell us about the jobSend a few photos, rough sizes and what you need. Use WhatsApp or the form. For a repair, a short video of the door moving helps a lot.
- We call you back in about 2 minutesWe confirm what you need and a time to visit. Where we can, we give you a rough price on the call.
- We come and measureWe measure the opening and check the walls, floor and ceiling around it. Anything made to size is made to these measurements, so they must be right.
- You get a written priceIt lists each item, with GST as its own line. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Our own team fits the work, checks that every door and window opens and closes properly, and clears up. Most jobs are done in 3 to 4 days.
