Narela is at the far northern edge of Delhi. It has a large industrial area full of factories and warehouses, and a growing belt of new DDA housing in sectors A1 to A10. The two sides need very different glass. Factories want offices and cabins on the shop floor. The new flats want bathrooms and windows fitted for the first time.
Offices on a factory floor
Factories here often want a glass office or supervisor cabin on the shop floor. It lets a supervisor see the whole line while keeping noise and dust out.
Access is easy: ground level, wide doors, no lift. So we can bring in large panels in one piece.
The thing to plan is the shift. Tell us when the line stops, and we fit the cabin then.
What happens near the glass matters
In a factory, sparks from grinding and welding pit glass permanently. Dust settles into fresh sealant before it dries.
So we fit glass near the end of any work, and never beside a running welding bay. Toughened glass is strong, but it is not a spark screen.
If a cabin would sit right next to hot work, we will say so and suggest what actually belongs there.
First fittings in the new DDA flats
The newer DDA housing in Narela is being handed over and fitted out for the first time. A new flat has fresh tiles and straight walls, which suits frameless glass.
We measure after the flooring is done, because glass is cut to the final floor level.
