Narela is a newer industrial area, and we are often fitting out a unit that is still empty. That is an advantage worth using: the office can be positioned for the layout that is coming rather than squeezed around equipment already in place. It also means planning for a building nobody has used yet.
Positioning an office for a floor that is still empty
In an empty unit the office can go anywhere, and that freedom is usually spent badly — it ends up by the door because that is the obvious spot.\n\nThe better question is where the supervisor needs to see, and where the noisiest process will end up.\n\nSo we ask for the machine layout before setting a position. An office placed for the finished floor is worth a great deal more than one placed for an empty shed, and it costs exactly the same to put in the right place at the start.
Leaving room for what arrives later
A partition built tight to a wall in an empty unit can block the route for equipment that has not been delivered yet.\n\nThat is a very expensive discovery, because the partition is finished and the machine is on a truck.\n\nSo we check the largest thing that still has to come into the building, and its route, before fixing anything permanent. It is one question at survey and it is the mistake most worth avoiding in a unit that is being fitted out ahead of occupation.
Services that are not connected yet
In a new unit the power, data and compressed air are often roughed in but not live, and the final positions may still change.\n\nA partition that boxes in a service run before it is finished has to be opened up again.\n\nSo we coordinate the partition line with whoever is doing the services and, where positions are still uncertain, build in an access panel rather than sealing it. It costs very little at the time and it saves cutting into finished work a month later.

- We fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Our own team fits the work, checks that every door and window opens and closes properly, and clears up. Most jobs are done in 3 to 4 days.
