Glass Partition Cost for an Office

What a cabin, a meeting room or a whole floor costs, and why bigger is cheaper.

₹620 - ₹905per sq ft of glass, fitted, before GST

  • At your location in just 29 minutes Traffic permitting
  • Price in writing before you commit
  • Measured on site, not over the phone
  • Fitted by our own team
  • 1-year fitting warranty

Office glass partitions in Bengaluru cost ₹620 to ₹905 for each square foot of glass. That price is fitted, before GST. One manager's cabin sits near the top of that range. A whole floor sits near the bottom. The more glass you order, the more the fixed costs get shared. This page prices both ends. It also shows you how to work out your own glass area. Then you can do this before you ask anyone for a number.

What an office partition job includes

Toughened glass cut to your floor, all the cutting and drilling, normal chrome fittings, delivery, and our team fitting it. Toughened glass is safety glass.

For a cabin, that means the glass faces plus the door. For a meeting room it is usually one long run and a door. For a whole floor it is a set of cabins. We build them in an order that keeps your office working while we do it.

A few things are not in the price. Ceiling and floor repairs. Electrical changes. And any partition above a false ceiling. If your building needs any of this, we tell you at the measuring visit, not on fitting day.

Who this is priced for

Companies splitting an open floor but keeping the daylight. Growing teams that need three cabins by the end of the month. Landlords making an empty space easier to rent. Co-working spaces splitting suites. And clinics, studios and offices where a room must be private, but the corridor still feels open.

Most of our office work comes from Whitefield, Electronic City, Koramangala, and the Outer Ring Road area around Bellandur and Marathahalli. These are very different kinds of building. That is why the time on site changes, even when the rate does not.

Work out your glass area first

This is where most price surprises start. You pay for glass, not for floor space.

A 10 x 8 ft cabin covers 80 sq ft of floor. But put glass on three sides, eight feet high, and you are buying about 216 sq ft of glass. That is nearly three times the number most people start with.

It is easy to work out. Measure each face you want in glass, in feet. Multiply length by height. Add them together, and include the door.

Multiply that total by the rate. Now you have a rough price. Send us the same numbers and we can give you a range before anyone travels.

What it costs by size of job

One 5 x 7 ft cabin partition with a hinged door is 35 sq ft of 10mm glass. It comes to about ₹29,800.

A full-height frameless cabin on a 10 x 8 ft floor, with three sides in 12mm glass, comes to about ₹1,33,900.

Order a whole floor together and the rate moves towards the bottom of the range, near ₹620 per sq ft. Then one delivery and one team booking cover the whole job.

So if you are planning a floor, order it as a floor. Do not order one cabin at a time. It is much cheaper this way, and all the panels match.

How long a fit-out takes

One cabin: we measure within a day or two. The glass takes three to five working days to make. Fitting takes a day. So plan for about a week to ten days. That is from your first message to a finished room.

A floor of six to ten cabins: the same wait for the glass, then three to five days on site. We usually work in stages. So finished cabins come into use while we build the rest.

Some buildings only allow material to move at night or on weekends. We plan for that and say so in the price. We do not add an extra charge later.

What we use in offices

12mm clear toughened glass for full-height cabins. 10mm where the panels are shorter or sit inside a frame. The right thickness depends on the panel size and whether it holds a door.

We pick the door closer to match the door's weight and how often it is used. A door on a main walkway gets a heavier one than an inside cabin door. Locks and handles are made for daily office use. They are not the lighter home parts that look the same in a photo.

A frosted band at eye level is normal on clear full-height glass in an office. People do walk into glass, and most rules ask for a band. We can etch your logo into that band at the same time.

What we handle for you in a managed building

Dealing with the building.

In a managed tower, the glass is the easy part. The time goes on the work permission, the insurance papers, the service lift booking, the after-hours access, and a building manager who wants one named person to be responsible.

We handle all of this for you. It is a big part of what the rate pays for.

On site you get one site manager, one number to call, one written list of the work, and our warranty on the fitting.

What happens after you get in touch

Send a floor plan if you have one. If not, send the cabin sizes and a photo of the space. We call back the same day with a rough range.

If it looks workable, we measure on site. We check the ceiling and floor. Then we give you a written price. The glass, the fittings and the fitting work are on separate lines.

When you approve it, you pay an advance for the materials. Then we start making your glass. Everything before that point costs you nothing.

Rates

Each rate is for one square foot of glass, fitted. GST is extra. Each rate comes from the real cost of the size shown next to it. So a smaller job usually costs a bit more per sq ft. A bigger job costs a bit less. The number that matters is the written price. We give you that price after we measure your site.

What changes the price

  1. Type of glass

Plain clear toughened glass (safety glass) is the base price. Frosted, tinted and extra-clear glass cost more. A frosted band or an etched logo is priced by the size of the area we treat.

  2. Thickness

10mm suits most partitions and showers. We use 12mm for full-height cabins, shop fronts, and panels much over 8 feet tall. Going from 10mm to 12mm adds about ₹55 per sq ft.

  3. How much glass

You pay for the glass, not for the floor. A 10 x 8 ft cabin with three glass sides needs about 216 sq ft of glass, not 80. Size also helps you. That same cabin costs about ₹620 per sq ft. A small 5 x 7 ft partition with the same door parts costs ₹850.

  4. Fittings

On a small job, the fittings change the price more than anything else. A full door set costs about ₹7,500. This cost is the same for a 35 sq ft partition or a 300 sq ft one. On a small job, very little glass has to carry that cost.

  5. Doors

A fixed panel with no door is the simplest thing we make, at about ₹620 per sq ft. Add a hinged door and the rate goes to ₹850. A sliding door adds rollers and a track. A hidden track adds even more.

  6. Cutting and drilling

Every hole and cut-out is made before the glass is toughened. We charge for each one. A panel with a door, a lock and a handle needs much more work than a plain panel of the same size.

  7. Delivery

Toughened glass travels upright in a frame. It cannot be cut once it leaves the factory. Delivery costs about the same for a big load or a small one. So one big delivery is cheaper than three small ones.

  8. Fitting work

This is the time our team spends at your site. A straight partition against good walls usually takes one day. Some things add time: night work, scaffolding, or a second trip because the site was not ready.

  9. Site conditions

Some sites take longer to work in. Walls that are not straight. Floors that are not level. Tiles we have to drill. No service lift, short working hours, or an upper floor with only stairs. Each of these adds time on site.

Common questions

Can you fit office partitions outside working hours?

Yes, and in most managed campuses in Bengaluru it is the only way. Tech parks in Whitefield, Manyata and Electronic City usually allow material to move only at night or on weekends. Tell us when you first ask. Then the team booking and the price allow for it from the start. Adding night work later is what causes arguments over the price.

Do glass partitions stop sound between cabins?

They cut it down well, but they do not stop it fully. A full-height panel sealed at the top and both sides brings normal talk down to a low murmur next door. If privacy really matters, like in an HR room or a doctor's room, tell us. We will plan the seals and the door properly, so you do not find out later.

Why does each style have a different rate?

Because each one costs a different amount to build. A fixed panel has no door parts at all. A partition with a hinged door needs a full set of parts. A sliding door costs even more. And a large cabin shares one door set across much more glass. So its rate per sq ft is the lowest of all. We work out every rate on this site from the real cost. We do not pick the numbers.

Is the rate per sq ft of glass, or per sq ft of floor?

It is per sq ft of glass. This is the main reason a price can look higher than you thought. A 10 x 8 ft cabin sounds like 80 sq ft. But if three sides have glass 8 ft tall, you are buying about 216 sq ft of glass. Your written price shows the glass area. So you can check the sum yourself.

Do these prices include GST?

No. Every rate on this site is before GST. Your written price shows the amount and the GST on separate lines. So nothing surprises you at the end.

Why does a small job cost more per sq ft than a large one?

The door set, the delivery and one day of our team's time cost about the same on any job. On a 5 x 7 ft partition, only 35 sq ft of glass carries those costs. On a full-height cabin, about 216 sq ft carries them. That is why the same kind of build drops from ₹850 to about ₹620 per sq ft.

What is the cheapest way to get this look?

A fixed glass panel with no door, at about ₹620 per sq ft. Every moving part adds cost: hinges, a lock, a door closer, a sliding set and its track. If the room works with an open doorway instead of a closing door, that is where you save.

Do you charge for coming out to measure?

Asking us for a price costs nothing. The measuring visit is part of the job, not a separate bill. We always measure. This is because toughened glass is cut to size before it is toughened. It cannot be cut again later.

How much advance do you take?

Enough to cover the materials, once you have approved the written price. Glass cut to your sizes is no use on any other job. This is why an advance is normal in this trade. You pay the rest when the work is finished.

Can the price change after you measure?

The written price is firm for the work listed on it. It changes only if the work changes. For example, different glass, an extra panel, or a door where there was an open gap. If we find something at your site that we could not see earlier, we tell you before we go on.
