What a normal window actually comes to

Mesh is sold by the square foot, so first work out your window's area. Measure the width and the height in feet and multiply them. A 4 ft by 4 ft bedroom window is 16 sq ft.
At ₹190 per sq ft, that window in a made-to-size openable frame comes to about ₹3,000. Re-meshed in its existing frame at ₹120, it is about ₹1,900. A small 3 ft by 2 ft kitchen or bathroom window is 6 sq ft, so about ₹1,150 in a new frame.
A balcony sliding mesh door is bigger. A 3 ft by 7 ft door is 21 sq ft, so about ₹6,700 at ₹320.
A whole 2BHK with six windows and one balcony door usually comes to ₹22,000 to ₹30,000, depending on the sizes and types. We give you the exact figure after measuring each window.
Why the six types cost different amounts

The mesh itself is a small part of the price. Most of what you pay for is the frame and the way it moves.
Re-meshing at ₹120 has no new frame in it. We reuse your frame, so you pay for the mesh, new spline cord and the work.
Balcony mesh at ₹140 is a simple framed grid over one large opening, so the framing is spread over a lot of area.
Magnetic mesh at ₹170 adds a light panel and a steel band, so the mesh comes off quickly for cleaning.
An openable frame at ₹190 is a made-to-size aluminium frame on hinges or a slide.
A sliding mesh door at ₹320 uses door hardware: a heavier frame, rollers, brush seals on four edges and a latch.
Pleated mesh at ₹380 is a folding mechanism with creased mesh, tensioned cords and machined rails. That is what lets one door cover a wide opening.
Cheap mesh and what it costs later
You will be quoted less than these rates, so it is worth knowing what is different.
The common cheap offer is fibreglass net on velcro or a light frame. It works at first, but strong sun makes fibreglass brittle over time, and it tears at a corner. Then you pay again.
SS304 stainless mesh costs more per square foot. It is woven steel wire, so the sun does not make it brittle and the rain does not rust it. It also stands up better to birds and pets.
The frame matters too. A frame made to your window seals all round. A stock-size frame packed out with foam leaves gaps at the corners, and a mosquito needs only one gap.
We quote stainless mesh as standard. We fit fibreglass only if you ask, and we tell you it will not last as long.
What is included, and what GST adds
Every rate on this page covers the mesh, the frame, the sealing strip where the frame meets your window, and the fitting.
GST is extra and shows on its own line, so nothing is hidden in the rate.
There is no minimum order for mesh. If you are fixing one window, it is worth adding the rest of the house to the same visit.
Mesh keeps insects out, but it is not a child safety barrier and should not be used as one.
