What can age is the adhesive under a taped band in strong afternoon sun, and on those windows we prefer the screwed band where the owner allows, or the highest-grade tape where not, stated plainly at the measuring visit.
Panels handle years of peeling and reseating. If a corner of mesh is ever damaged, the panel re-meshes like any frame, at the re-meshing rate, and the magnetic edge carries on.
