Structure, safety and the fitting
The opening is framed in slim aluminium sections anchored to the balcony's floor, side walls and ceiling, subdividing big faces into panel bays. The mesh tensions within each bay, and every panel is removable from inside for cleaning or replacing.
Safety realities are respected. Panels fit from inside the balcony without ladder work on the outside face. Anchors go into structure, never into loose plaster. And the mesh is insect screening, not a child-safety barrier: it does not replace a grille, and where small children use a high balcony, we say plainly that a grille comes first and the mesh mounts to it happily.

Cost and apartment practicalities
