Rajouri Garden is retail. Showrooms, restaurants, salons and branded stores along the main market and the Ring Road, with offices and flats behind them. The defining fact of the work here is that the front of the shop is the shop. When it breaks, trade stops, and when it is being changed, it has to be changed without losing a day.
A broken front is the most urgent job we do
A broken shopfront cannot be left. The opening is not secure, the shutter often cannot come down over it, and the shop cannot trade.
So the first thing we do is make it safe. We clear the broken glass properly - toughened glass breaks into a great many small pieces and they travel further than people expect - and board the opening so the shop can shut for the night.
Then the honest part. If it is a standard thickness and a size we hold, we can often replace it fast. If it is made to size, toughened glass takes three to five working days to cut, drill and toughen, and no amount of paying more shortens that. Anyone promising you a made-to-size toughened front the same afternoon is either fitting plain glass, which is genuinely dangerous in a shop entrance, or has not measured it yet.
Entrance doors take more use than any other door
A restaurant or showroom entrance is opened and closed hundreds of times a day. Nothing else we fit works that hard.
That is why the floor spring matters more than the glass. The floor spring is the mechanism set into the floor that closes the door in a controlled way. A proper commercial one is rated for that traffic. A lighter one looks identical on the day it goes in, costs less, and starts slamming or drifting open within a year - by which point the fault is blamed on the door.
We fit the rated part and we tell you which one it is. The same goes for the lock and the handle, which on a public entrance are wear items with a service life, not fittings that last forever.
Working around trading hours
Nothing here happens between eleven and eight if it can be avoided. We start before the market opens or work after it closes.
That is not just courtesy. The main market road is genuinely difficult to unload on once the day starts, and a vehicle standing with glass on it becomes a problem for everyone within minutes. Early delivery is simply how the job gets done.
If you are in a mall or a managed building rather than a street-front shop, the rule is usually stricter again: a fixed materials window, a service lift and a register. Tell us which you are at the first call, because the two situations need different plans and different numbers of people.
