MG Road was Gurugram's first commercial strip, long before Cyber City. Its malls and office blocks went up in the early 2000s, and almost all of them are now on a second or third fit-out. That makes the work here different from a new tower. There is always something to take out before anything new goes in.
Taking the last tenant's glass out first
When a floor or a mall unit changes hands here, the old partitions are usually still standing. They come out before the new ones go in.
Toughened glass does not come out in neat pieces if it is handled badly. It is unbolted panel by panel, carried out whole where possible, and taken away. Where a panel is stuck or damaged, it is broken safely inside a covered area.
We price the strip-out as its own line, so you can see it rather than finding it inside the rate.
Reusing old frames where they are sound
An aluminium partition system from fifteen years ago is sometimes still in good shape. The frame is sound and only the layout is wrong.
Where that is true, we can take it apart and reset it in a new layout, adding new glass only where sizes change. That can save a real amount of money.
Where the frame is corroded or out of production, we will say so and quote new. We look before we recommend either.
Mall units on the Delhi road
The mall units here trade from late morning to late night. So glass for a shopfront goes in after the mall closes, through the service route and the goods lift.
The mall office sets that window and wants a register and a named supervisor. We arrange both when you order.
A shopfront is always toughened glass, because it is a public entrance.
