Sectors 55, 56 and 57 are mid-size plotted neighbourhoods, a few minutes from the Sector 62 IT belt. Many homes are rented to people who work there, and many owner families live here too. The work is practical: bathrooms, windows, mesh and repairs, for owners who live in the house and for landlords who let it out.
Rented floors near the IT belt
Being close to Sector 62, many floors here are rented to IT workers. Landlords want repairs that last through tenancies.
The best time to fix a rented floor is between tenants, when a bathroom can be out of use for a day without disturbing anyone.
Tell us when a flat will be empty and we plan the work for then.
Small faults, fixed properly
Most repair calls here are small. Sliding windows that stick, doors that catch the floor, torn mesh, loose handles.
Nearly all are a worn part. New rollers fix a stuck window. A hinge fixes a dropped door.
We check first and fix only what is broken. It usually costs less than people expect.
Walls in older plotted homes
Many homes here are twenty to thirty years old. Walls have usually moved a few millimetres.
Frameless glass shows that as a gap along one edge. A slim aluminium frame hides it and seals well.
In a recently rebuilt floor with true walls, frameless looks better. We check with a level.
