Many buildings here are run as PGs or rented floors by one landlord. When repairs are needed, it is usually several rooms at once: shower screens, windows that stick, mesh, door handles.
Doing a whole building in one visit is far cheaper than room by room. The visit and the team's day are paid once.

Rooms back in use the same day
In a rented building, a room out of use is lost rent. So we plan to finish each room the same day and leave it clean.
Most repairs here take under an hour: new rollers on a sliding window, a hinge on a dropped door, new mesh. A shower screen takes most of a day.

The lanes decide the panel size
The lanes in Chakkarpur are too narrow for a vehicle. It stops at the nearest road, and the glass is carried in by hand.
Every panel then has to go up a narrow stair, often five floors. The tightest turn decides the biggest panel.
