Shalimar Garden and Shalimar Garden Extension are dense residential colonies near Sahibabad and the Delhi border. Houses stand close together on small plots, many built up three or four floors. The lanes are narrow. Most of our work is homes, and getting glass down those lanes is the part we plan most carefully.
The lane sets the panel size
Many lanes in Shalimar Garden are too narrow for a delivery vehicle. So it stops on the nearest main road, and the panels are carried in by hand.
Each panel must clear the lane, the front door and the stair. We check the whole route on the first visit.
Then we size every panel to arrive in one piece.
Fixing what is actually broken
Most calls here are small repairs. A sliding window that will not move, a door that catches, mesh that has torn.
Most are worn parts. New rollers fix a stuck window. A hinge fixes a door.
We check first and repair where it will last, which usually costs far less than people expect.
Small bathrooms and door swing
Bathrooms in these houses are often small, and a hinged glass door may have no room to swing.
Where a door would hit the toilet or basin, a sliding door or a fixed panel with an open gap works better. We check the swing on site.
In older houses, a slim frame usually seals better against a leaning wall.
