HSR Layout is the easiest of the southern areas for us to work in. Someone planned it. The roads are wide. The sectors are a grid. A vehicle can stand outside your building without a fight. The buildings are what make it interesting. A small office on the ground floor, with families living above it, changes when we can make noise.
An office under someone's home
This shapes our work here. A ground floor office has flats above it. So the cutting and drilling has to happen at a fair hour.
So we plan the noisy part for the middle of the day. And we do as much prep as we can off site. Toughened glass (safety glass) arrives finished, with the holes and cut-outs already made. Nothing can be drilled into it after it is toughened. That alone removes most of the noise people expect.

What a small office actually costs
Most jobs here are two to four cabins. Small rooms cost more per square foot than large ones.
The reason is simple. A door set costs the same in a small cabin as in a large one. Here, much less glass has to carry it. That is simple maths, not a trick. It is also why a quote given only as a rate can mislead you.
There are two honest ways to spend less. A fixed panel with an open doorway drops the door fittings. Those are the biggest single cost on a small room. And ordering all the rooms at once shares one measuring visit, one delivery and one day of our team across all of them.
The bathrooms upstairs
HSR housing splits neatly by age. In the older sectors the buildings have settled, so the walls have moved a little. A slim aluminium frame suits them, because the channel takes that up. The newer blocks in Somasundarapalya and towards Agara are straight. There, frameless is the better looking and the easier answer.
We decide with a level at the measuring visit, not before.
What really stops a leak is not the glass. It is a good seal along the door edge, and bathroom-grade silicone around the joins. Then leave it about a day to set before you use the shower.
