These societies were built in phases with the same windows, doors and balconies across hundreds of flats. That makes faults predictable and parts consistent, and it makes doing several flats together substantially cheaper than doing them one at a time. It is the most useful thing to know about working here.
Knowing the fault before arriving
Where one specification was fitted across a whole society, it fails the same way at roughly the same age everywhere.\n\nSo a description over the phone is far more reliable here than on a street of individually built houses.\n\nThat means we can usually bring the right part to the first visit and finish in one go. Mention the society and the tower when you call — it genuinely changes whether a job takes one visit or two.
Several flats, one visit
Because neighbours have identical fittings, the same fault appears across a tower within a year or so of itself.\n\nWhere several flats want the same work, doing them together means one journey, parts ordered in quantity and one setting up.\n\nWe are happy to quote a tower or a floor on that basis, with each flat still measured and priced individually. In a society this size it is the largest saving available, and it usually only needs one person to organise it.
Keeping the elevation consistent
In a society where every flat looks the same, a replacement that does not match is visible from the ground and tends to attract attention.\n\nSo where an external window, grille or balcony panel is replaced, we match the original colour, section and pane division rather than fitting the nearest equivalent.\n\nWhere something has been discontinued we say so before ordering and agree what will look closest, rather than surprising you and your neighbours afterwards.
How the job works

- We call you back in about 2 minutesWe confirm what you need and a time to visit. Where we can, we give you a rough price on the call.
- We come and measureWe measure the opening and check the walls, floor and ceiling around it. Anything made to size is made to these measurements, so they must be right.
- You get a written priceIt lists each item, with GST as its own line. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Our own team fits the work, checks that every door and window opens and closes properly, and clears up. Most jobs are done in 3 to 4 days.
