In a plant, a broken window or a failed door is rarely about comfort — it is about whether something can be kept clean, kept secure or kept at temperature. That changes how urgent a repair is, and it means the right question is what the fault is actually affecting rather than how bad it looks.
Asking what the fault is affecting
A cracked pane in a store room and the same crack in a clean area are completely different jobs in urgency, even though the repair is identical.\n\nSo the first thing we ask is what the opening protects.\n\nThat determines whether we make safe today and return, or schedule it for next week. It also determines how we work — a repair next to a controlled area is done differently from one in a yard-facing wall, and it is worth saying so at the point of booking.
Doors that are part of how the building works
In a plant, doors separate areas for a reason: dust, temperature, noise or access control.\n\nA door that no longer closes properly has stopped doing that job even though it still opens and shuts.\n\nSo a door dragging or failing to latch is worth treating as a fault rather than an irritation. Re-aligning it or replacing the closer is inexpensive; the consequence of an area that is no longer separated can be considerably more than that.
Planned maintenance instead of call-outs
On a site with a lot of openings, waiting for each to fail means constant small disruptions and constant small invoices.\n\nA single visit that inspects every door, window, mesh panel and high-level opening produces a list and a plan.\n\nWe are happy to do that as a one-off survey, and to work through the resulting list in one or two planned visits. On an industrial site that is materially cheaper than reactive repair, and considerably less disruptive.

- You get a written priceIt lists each item, with GST as its own line. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Our own team fits the work, checks that every door and window opens and closes properly, and clears up. Most jobs are done in 3 to 4 days.
