Old glass fails in the same few ways, and in Jayanagar we see all of them often. A cracked stair railing panel. A shower door with hinges rusted through. A window pane broken by a cricket ball. A shop door whose floor spring has finally worn out. We measure, make and fit all of it the same way.
Railings, windows and the risk of waiting
A chipped or cracked toughened panel is worth replacing, not watching. Toughened glass is safety glass. Damage to the edge takes away the strength the toughening gives it. When it breaks, it breaks all at once, with no warning.
On a stair railing in a house with children, that is not a risk worth taking.
New glass includes taking the old panel away. Where we cannot fit the new panel the same day, we make the opening safe on the first visit. We come back with the glass once it is made.
Shop doors on the main roads
A shop door here is opened hundreds of times a day, and the floor spring (the part under the door that pulls it shut) wears out.
When the door starts to slam, drift open or catch on the floor, that is the spring, not the glass. Changing one is usually a two to three hour visit, and our van carries the common closers, clamps and handles.
Where a part needs replacing, we fit one made for the weight of the door and how often it is used. Fitting the same too-small part again is why some doors fail every year.

- You get a written priceIt shows the glass, the fittings and the fitting work as separate lines. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We make it and fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Then we make your glass. Our team delivers it, fits it, checks the doors line up and clears the site.
