Bengaluru gets rain in two spells, from June to September and again in October and November. Wind pushes that rain at a shut window. Worn seals let a line of mist reach the sill inside.
A seal is the soft strip between the shutter and the frame. Swing-open windows use rubber, and sliding windows use a brush strip. We measure the groove and the gap, then fit a matching new strip. A window that shuts tight also keeps out more traffic noise.
