Jayanagar's shopping is centred on 4th Block and the Jayanagar Complex. A shop inside a complex opens onto a corridor, not the road. Its door gets less dust, but it gets just as many hands. Handles work loose and hinges start to drop. We tighten or change them, usually in one visit.

Shops on the main roads of 3rd, 7th and 9th Block face the street directly. There the rain and the road dust reach the bottom edge of the door. We clear the floor lock and fit new rubber along the base.
