The net is knotted nylon. We drill steel hooks into the wall and ceiling, right round the opening. A border rope runs through the edge of the net, and we pull it tight over the hooks. We work from inside the balcony. The net is thin, so you keep the light, the breeze and the view.
Mosquitoes pass through this net, so a balcony mosquito net is a separate job. It is also not a safety barrier for children. We do not remove birds or nests, and we fit no spikes or gels.
