Commercial glass in Jayanagar is mostly clinics, doctor rooms, small offices and old shops. The buildings are decades old, and very little in them is square any more. That is not a problem, but it does decide what we suggest. It is also why we never quote this area from a photo.
Consulting rooms, where sound matters most
This is our most common job here. A room where a private talk stays inside, while the corridor still feels open.
We use full-height glass, sealed at the top and both sides, with a door that shuts properly and no gap at the floor. That brings a normal talk down to a low murmur outside. A partition that stops short of the ceiling will not do that, whatever it costs.
Frosting up to windowsill height, or a fully frosted panel, hides what people can see. Frosted glass is cloudy so you cannot see through it. Glass is not a solid wall and we will not say it is. But sealed full-height glass does most of what a clinic really needs.
Why a frame usually suits these buildings
After forty or fifty years the walls lean a little, the floor is not level, and openings are wider at one end than the other.
Frameless glass (glass with no metal frame) has almost no room for that, so a gap shows along the edge.
A slim aluminium frame has that room built into its channel. It also usually costs a little less on a simple run, because it takes thinner glass. We price both and tell you honestly which one your building suits. In a room that has just been fully redone, frameless is the better answer again.
